Bassoon concerto for Sebastian Stevensson

I'm very happy to announce that I will be writing a concerto for the brilliant bassoonist Sebastian Stevensson. :) The work is commissioned by Musica Vitae, with premiere set to January 2018. Sebastian won solistpriset 2016 and has since then been Sveriges Radio artist in residence, aside from also being the principal bassoonist in DR SymfoniOrkestret. He has performed with London Symphony Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, among many others. I'm very much looking forward to work with such a esteemed young musician, and honoured for the confidence in me as composer. Musica Vitae has performed my music before, and I'm very much looking forward to work with them again. I am also looking forward to hear Sebastian play at Musikaliska this sunday, where he will perform a new piece by my dear colleague Andrea Tarrodi.
